Why Cambodia?

Taking part in this extraordinary trip will be a life-changing experience that will leave you with lasting memories, profoundly change your perspective, and allow you to see things you never imagined, and impact our FTC churches in incredible ways.

Cambodia is a southeast Asian nation whose culture is starkly different from our western mindsets – it is a third-world country which faces the toughest socio-economic challenges of any of our FTC-member nations. It’s history is tragic, as it suffered a mass genocide in the late 70’s which resulted in the death of a quarter of Cambodia’s population.

But just as the Samaritan did not pass up the beaten and wounded man by the side of the road, God has not forgotten about Cambodia, it is a country of friendly people, it is safe and beautiful, and is calling out to you to participate in this amazing journey and make a difference.

FTC currently has four Cambodian pastors who were baptized and trained by Missionary Domingo Carlos when he and his family planted the church there starting in 2012. FTC is looking for team members to go and be the hands and feet of Christ, to strengthen and encourage the current Cambodian leaders, and bring healing and salvation to its people.
